New Short Work Commission

We are delighted to announce the recipient of the inaugural Hi-Viz Short Work Commission. Musician and performance artist Sui Zhen will be working in collaboration with video artist Carla Zimbler and performance artist Megan Payne.

Due to COVID-19 and its many associated impacts, the Sydney Opera House UnWrapped season of Dragon Ladies Don’t Weep will not be going ahead. We are of course disappointed not to bring this work to Sydney audiences and look forward to future presentation seasons when our theatres are  once again open. Please keep an eye on our website and eNews for future updates.

Chamber Made is now calling for applications for our 2020 Orange House by the Sea Artist Residency program for mid-career women and non-binary artists who are working at the intersections of performance, sound and music.

We are thrilled to announce the world premiere of Dragon Ladies Don’t Weep as part of Asia TOPA 2020 – a co-production with CultureLink Singapore in association with The SUBSTATION, presented at Arts Centre Melbourne.

We are delighted to partner with Asia Society and Arts Centre Melbourne for our February Salon, as part of the Asia TOPA Salon Series.
