Rory Grubb
Rory Grubb has produced 3 albums; Joining The Dots (2005), Sketches From The Big Sleep (2009) and Water House (2016); and has toured his original music extensively in Ireland, UK, Spain and Canada. His live shows often feature complex layering and custom-made instruments, including The Electric Ceramophone (2012) and instruments made solely from bicycle parts . He works between pop and experimental, collaborating with theatre companies and contemporary artists for performance and production. Together with fellow Irish artists for ‘Meeting House’ (2015), he turned a Georgian Meeting House in Offaly into a playable building, using over 3km of string stretched and tuned throughout.
