Olivia Muscat
Olivia Muscat writes about disability, the arts and random things that pop into her head. Her personal essays are featured in the anthologies Meet Me at the Intersection and Growing Up Disabled in Australia, and she writes theatre criticism for Witness Performance. She has presented work at the Emerging Writers’ Festival and National Young Writers’ Festival and has been published in Time Out magazine, Baby-Teeth journal, Kill Your Darlings and various other corners of the internet. In 2020 she was awarded the Lesley Hall arts and disability scholarship to work on her novel for younger readers. When not writing, she is an accessibility consultant for artists and arts organisations, teaches drama and writing to kids and teenagers, and co-presents the YA Page writers’ community events.
