Nick Roux

Nick Roux is an artist who uses technology to solve creative problems and create new problems. He pursues an interest in the structure and form of elegant systems and attempts to apply this both conceptually and materially to his work. Through sound and video his practice is focused on how these mediums can extend on live performance expression and contribute to the communication of ideas. He composes sound for dance, theatre and film works. Creates video animations and interactive video systems for music and art installations. Designs, programs and builds sophisticated instruments, devices and systems for use in performance works.
