Natasha Anderson
Natasha Anderson is a composer, musician and installation artist. She makes instrumental, audiovisual and acousmatic works through solo performance, notated scores, cross-platform collaboration, audiovisual installation and multi-channel diffusion. Her works variously explore intense psychoacoustic experiences, the abject and the uncanny. She has composed for Ensemble Phoenix Basel, The Bionic Ear Institute and Judith Hamann; exhibited at NCCA, NGV Gertrude Contemporary, Linden and Carriageworks; and is a founding member of the Thymolphthalein quintet. Natasha is the 2016 Peggy-Glanville Hicks House resident and currently holds a commission from the SSO for soloist Brett Dean, large ensemble and electronics.
