Madeleine Flynn
Madeleine Flynn is an Australian artist who creates unexpected situations for listening. She has a long term collaborative practice with Tim Humphrey. Their work is driven by a curiosity and questioning about listening, site and ecologies and seeks to evolve and engage with new processes, technologies and audiences, through public and participative interventions. Their highly awarded practice intertwines local, national and international relationships. They are in high demand as creative collaborators across artforms and industries. Recent commissions include Witness Stand for Perth International Arts Festival and Homus Nouvus Latvia, relay//country remembers her names for MONAFOMA, and how much time do we have? for the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. New things bubbling away with the Science Gallery and ArtsHouse Melbourne, Scottish Sculpture Workshop, TPAC Taiwan and the Kinosaki International Arts Centre, Japan.
