Lauren Abineri

Lauren Abineri (they/them) is an artist based in Narrm via Kaurna Land working across digital media, sound and music. Their interests include deep listening, bloopers, long-form techno and pop music conventions. They have been involved in artist-run spaces on Kaurna Land, compositing and making odd-kin across music and performance; co-curated the regular Experimental Music Night on and for 5 years co-directed at FELTspace ARI. Since shifting to Narrm, Lauren has engaged further with digital media production techniques and streaming long-form performances as an experiment in broadcasting their process-based explorations.

Lauren interned with Chamber Made in 2022 to support the Hi-Viz Satellites 2022 program and has since transitioned into the Operations Coordinator role in 2023.
