Chamber Made Opera, in partnership with the City of Darebin, are pleased to announce the first Chamber Made Opera Salon event for 2017.

The Salons are an opportunity for artists, experts, innovators and audience to come together for an evening of provocative discussion, nibbles and drinks.

This time, we are throwing the spotlight on Between 8 and 9, Chamber Made Opera’s new international work, a 70 minute sound installation featuring traditional instrumentation, new composition, electronics, sculptural design, vocal performance… and Lazy Susans. Between 8 & 9 is about to have its world premiere as part of the Asia TOPA (Triennial of Performing Arts) with seasons at the Castlemaine State Festival and the Melbourne Recital Centre. (Click here for further information about both seasons).

Join Chamber Made Opera’s new Artistic Director Tamara Saulwick in conversation with the work’s creators and artists, along with sneak preview of the work itself, as well as drinks and nibbles in the foyer afterwards.

RSVPs for this event have officially closed. Please contact our Operations Manager, Imbi Neeme, directly via imbi[at]chambermadeopera.com if you wish to attend.

This Salon event is presented together with Darebin Arts, City of Darebin.
