Slow Love

Love. It's all we ever think about.

Slow Love is a theatrical examination of our obsession with, and devotion to, these amorous icons of the small and silver screens. Through over 120 rapid-fire scenes of men and women falling in and out of love, SLow Love dissects celluloid’s controling force in our every day lives.

Slow Love features a brilliant sound world performed live by internationally renowned composer and improviser Stevie Wishart, with violin, hurdy-gurdy, voice and electronics. Wishart’s music explores in inimitable fashion medieval and contemporary extremes.

2002:  Melbourne Season, Beckett Theatre, Malthouse (21 – 29 June)
