Kang Yan-Long

Yan-Long completed his Master of Arts degree from Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 2013. 

Between 1999 and 2006 Yan-Long studied under Professor Qi Li, Professor Xi Ping Ho and Professor Xiao Shi Meng at the Vocal Department of the Xian Conservatory of Music.

Since 2006, he has been a full-time lecturer at the College of Music at the Sichuan Normal University, whilst studying ethnic singing with Professor Dai Kang Jiang at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. During this time, Yan Long Kang studied and guest lectured at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the China Conservatory of Music, the Xinghai Conservatory of Music and the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

Yan-Long has received many government awards including awards from Sichuan Province, Shanxi Province and Gansu Province. He has also performed at Chinese Music Golden Bell Awards and the China Central Television Young Singer Grand TV prix. His performances were well reviewed.

Since 2003, Yan-Long has been performing at various competitions in Sichuan, Shanxi and Gansu Provinces, winning many prizes, including the First Prize of the Eighth and the Ninth Chinese Music Golden Bell Awards of Ethnic Song. He has performed solo at several musicals and operas.

Yan-Long is a member of the Sichuan Musicians Association.
